The National Bar Association is the oldest and largest network of predominantly African American lawyers and judges.

Founded in 1925, the National Bar Association represents the interests of more than 55,000 lawyers, judges, law professors and law students and has more than 80 affiliate chapters throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Africa and the Caribbean.

The organization seeks to advance the science of jurisprudence, preserve the independence of the judiciary and to uphold the honor and integrity of the legal profession.
